The owner of the dog, Pierre Robinson, will be charged for 'allowing the dog to be dangerously out of control' outside of his house in Albert Square, London. After the attack, there were five police men in hospital last night in a serious, yet stable condition.

Some of the five police men in hospital were said to be left with life changing injuries as serious as injuries that could have been seen after a shootout. One police officer had his arm broken after it had been in the jaws of the dog, other had chunks of flesh torn from their legs and arms and a couple of the officers will require plastic surgery after the attack, one may even lose a number of fingers.
