Barking Tickets: Hawaii Police Can Issue Barking Tickets to Dog Owners

A savage new law which makes ‘incessant barking’ an offence has dog owners turning to pet psychologists in Hawaii. Boasting a vast range of idyllic scenery, Hawaii’s Big Island has recently become overrun by people’s pet dogs and it’s due to this that officials have been forced to take action.

The repeat offenders are the ones who will have action taken against them with the police now able to fine dog owners, write ‘barking tickets’ and in drastic instances they are able to remove an uncontrollable dog to a pound. There are ‘allotted times’ in which a dog is allowed to bark and can ban a dog that barks for 10 minutes continuously or 20 minutes intermittently within half an hour.

There are exceptions to that law, with a dog allowed to bark over the time limits if their owner is being attacked. As you may imagine there have been a number of complaints about the time limits and that the law infringes their rights but that’s countered by neighbours saying that 24-hour barking is so bad that they need to have a fan next to their head to be able to get to sleep.

This can be down to some dogs not being trained properly and being a little wayward. If you think that your neighbour may be getting annoyed at the noise your dog is making then you should pay a visit to the Online for Pets site.

With the wide range of products they’ve got available that will help you to train your dog you’re sure to find something that will help you to make your dog’s behaviour better and if it is a barking problem, then you may also be able to control that.

Dogs Can be a Pain in the Masters

Russ Berkman, the lucky owner of four tickets to the Masters at the Augusta National Golf Club soon realised his dog had treated herself to a snack. Yes, that snack happened to be his four tickets to the Masters which he had won in a lottery. Berkman, a Seattle resident was forced to feed his beloved Swiss mountain dog, Sierra with Hydrogen Peroxide after he realised what she had eaten.

Once his darling pet had thrown up what was left of the tickets he was left with no other choice than to try ad piece back together the pieces of the tickets that were left and he thinks that h managed to get about 70% of all of the four tickets back together.

Once he realised what had happened he didn’t know what he should do so he phoned up his girlfriend and she said that all he could do was to make the dog sick and hope that the pieces of paper, or card; whatever it was the tickets were made from hadn’t digested too much by the time the dog had thrown them up.

Luckily he managed to get them out in time and he pieced back the majority of each of the four tickets and he didn’t know whether or not he would be able to get in with them on the day of the event so he phoned up the golf club, explained what had happened and thankfully they reprinted his tickets for him. It sounds like he needs to train his dog more!

If you’re looking to train your dog or puppy to behave and not do, or do certain things then you should pay a visit to Online for Pets. With their wide range of different dog training products you’re sure to find something that you need o help you in training your dog.

Surfing Dogs: New Publicity Initiative for the Isle of Wight

In what many will no doubt think is a strange choice from those whose idea it was to start the campaign, it brings something different to the plate and to the world of surfing. The idea behind the campaign is to promote the Isle of Wight as a dog friendly place.

In a 24-page document which has been commission by Wightlink, the ferry operator, and has been entitled ‘Pawprint’ sees a host of different “dog reporters” giving the low down on some of the most dog friendly places on the island.

The guide has been described as being “written by Isle of Wight dogs and their humans to spell out all the things that make the island a great place for dogs to visit on holiday with their families.” On the Wightlink site where ‘Pawprint’ is advertised they say that the guide presents you with a different point of view of the island, from a ‘dogs-eye-view’.

In the pages of the document there are ‘pawtraits’ of all of the dogs and they also give you their ‘paws of wisdom’ so if you’re looking for some of the best and most dog friendly places on the Isle then you wouldn’t be doing a bad thing by getting yourself a copy of ‘Pawprint’.

If you are planning a trip to the Isle of Wight then you should make sure that you have everything that you need. From dog toys to keep them quiet on the ferry to a dog lead to make sure you have full control of your pet on the Isle.

If you need any of the above or some other things for your pet before you head on over to the Isle of Wight then you should pay a visit to Online for Pets and check out their extensive range of pet products and pet supplies.

Dog Owner to Be Charged

This is a prime example of a dog not being trained properly, or it could have been even worse, the dog could have been trained to act like that. If that’s the case then it’s safe to say that it’s a shame for the dog to have been brought up in that manner.

The owner of the dog, Pierre Robinson, will be charged for 'allowing the dog to be dangerously out of control' outside of his house in Albert Square, London. After the attack, there were five police men in hospital last night in a serious, yet stable condition.

Some of the five police men in hospital were said to be left with life changing injuries as serious as injuries that could have been seen after a shootout. One police officer had his arm broken after it had been in the jaws of the dog, other had chunks of flesh torn from their legs and arms and a couple of the officers will require plastic surgery after the attack, one may even lose a number of fingers.

The dog had to be shot four times by an armed response unit before it was subdued, but situations like this can b avoided and nay dog owner can play their part in helping their dog to behave properly.

If you’re looking to train your dog properly then you should pay a visit to www.onlineforpets.co.uk and check out their range of pet products from dog training supplies to dog toys; you’re sure to find something on their site!
